The ideal volunteer enjoys working with people, is a good listener, and feels confident supporting a group in a warm and welcoming way. As Our Place is led by and for Disabled people, we particularly welcome applications from Disabled volunteers and those with lived experience of disability. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to creating a safe and accessible space for everyone are key qualities we value.
