Are you passionate about food and eager to kickstart a career in the kitchen? We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This is your chance to learn from a team of experienced chefs, gain hands-on experience, and work towards a nationally recognised qualification – all while getting paid.

About the Role:  As Kitchen Porter, you will play a key part in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across the kitchen. You will support the wider kitchen team with washing up, cleaning, deliveries, waste management and basic preparation tasks when required.

  • Wash dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment efficiently.
  • Keep kitchen areas, floors, work surfaces and storage areas clean and tidy.
  • Support chefs with basic food preparation where needed.
  • Receive, check and store deliveries safely and correctly.
  • Remove waste and recycling in line with procedures.
  • Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and cleaning standards at all times.
  • Help ensure the kitchen is ready for service and properly closed down afterwards.
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Able to work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided.
