Are you hardworking, reliable, and take pride in keeping things clean, organised, and running smoothly? Would you enjoy being part of a friendly, passionate team preparing and dispatching handmade frozen meals for customers across South Devon?

If so, Devon Farm Kitchen could be the perfect fit for you. We’re a successful social enterprise supporting Rowcroft Hospice, delivering delicious meals while helping fund vital end-of-life care. We’re now looking for a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team and help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across our food production environment.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital hands-on role supporting the daily operation of our busy production kitchen.

What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role you’ll be someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene. You’ll enjoy working as part of a supportive team and be happy to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.

The role is physically active and involves standing for long periods, washing equipment and trays, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks when required. You’ll need to be comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments at times.

A positive, can-do attitude is essential. Previous experience working in a kitchen, food production, or hospitality environment would be helpful but isn’t essential — full training will be provided. What matters most is your reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
