We are looking to appoint a Kingsway Lettings Supervisor to help oversee the management of lettings that occur at the Kingsway sports facilities during weekday evenings and on Sundays. This role is offered on a job-share basis.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure entrance gates are open for 18.00 and secured when lettings finished (approx. 21.30)

  • Ensure areas of pavilion that are part of lettings are open and changing facilities are ready to use. Ensure pavilion is secured and alarmed at end of sessions.
  • Ensure floodlights are on if required, ensure lights are switched off at end of sessions.
  • Act as on site point of contact for lettings representatives on any issues arising.
  • Undertake site inspections during the course of the lettings sessions
  • Oversee change over between lettings, ensuring hirers stick to agreed times and pack away any equipment used.
  • Check that hirers have appropriate footwear for surface being used.
  • Report any defects or issues to relevant school department e.g. grounds or maintenance.
  • Visual check of facilities (pitches and changing rooms).

  • Salary: £14.80 per hour plus holiday allowance
  • Hours: As per lettings schedule but currently Monday to Thursday: 17:45 to 21:45, Sunday 09.45 – 14.45, term-time only (plus possible days at either end). 21 hours per week.
