Hampton Trust is a values-led charity working to reduce reoffending and support individuals to rebuild their lives. We are looking for a Women’s Services Practitioner to join our JUNO intervention team, supporting women who have received a conditional caution and are often facing multiple and complex disadvantages.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with women at a pivotal moment, providing trauma-informed, strengths-based support that addresses the root causes of offending and promotes long-term positive outcomes.

About the role

You will make initial contact with women referred by the police, completing holistic needs and risk assessments using the nine pathways to prevent reoffending. You will identify risks, barriers to engagement, establishing the most appropriate method of support, including group work, virtual sessions, or one-to-one telephone support.

You will also co-facilitate group-based JUNO workshops across Hampshire and provide ongoing advocacy, guidance, and emotional support throughout a woman’s engagement with the programme.

Your role will include:

  • Conducting needs and risk assessments
  • Preparing and supporting women to engage in group work
  • Delivering trauma-informed interventions (group, virtual, and telephone)
  • Supporting access to specialist services (health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, housing)
  • Managing risk and safeguarding, including high-risk domestic abuse situations
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies

  • Experience of working with women facing complex needs
  • Strong understanding of Trauma Informed and gender-responsive practice
  • Confident managing risk, delivering interventions and building trusting relationships
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel across Hampshire
