About the role:
The role is within Momentum’s London-based investment team and involves providing support towards investment and fund research, client reporting and portfolio management responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with various members of the investment team on a range of projects and regular analysis tasks. The role involves regular use of a range of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, as well as systems such as Bloomberg, Factset and Morningstar. The candidate would attend all regular internal investment team meetings as well as some external research meetings, which should help develop their knowledge of financial markets and investment research.
The role demands a passion for original research and analysis, with significant attention to detail. An aptitude for balanced and coherent written communication is required.
The Team:
Momentum’s UK investment team, based across London and Liverpool, focus on delivering leading multi- asset investment solutions across various geographies and risk profiles, for UK, South African and International client segments. Portfolios are managed according to an outcome-based investment philosophy with a dynamic approach to asset allocation, mostly implemented via investments with third party specialists. The investment team is responsible for the key disciplines of manager research, asset allocation and portfolio construction.
