Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is seeking a talented, creative and highly organised Junior Graphic Designer to support the delivery of high-quality design across the club’s marketing, communications and brand output.

Based at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground in West Bridgford, Nottingham, the role will focus on producing creative artwork and design assets for use across print, digital, large format, publications, advertising, social media, web, signage and merchandising. The successful candidate will help ensure that the Nottinghamshire CCC, Trent Bridge, Trent Rockets and Trent Bridge Community Trust brands are presented with consistency, creativity and quality across every touchpoint.

This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who combines technical skills with creative flair, attention to detail and an understanding of how design supports audience engagement, ticket sales, membership growth, commercial partnerships and the wider reputation of the club.

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS

Creative Design and Brand Delivery

  • Produce creative artwork for use across all marketing and communications channels under the direction of our Graphic Designer
  • Design assets for print, digital, social media, email, web, outdoor, large format, signage, publications and merchandising.
  • Ensure all design work reflects the quality, heritage and ambition of Trent Bridge and Nottinghamshire CCC.
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently while finding opportunities to evolve, refresh and enhance creative output.
  • Balance creativity with practical delivery and brand consistency.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications team in maintaining high standards across all visual content.

Marketing and Communications Materials

  • Create campaign artwork to support ticket sales, membership, hospitality, retail, events, community programmes and commercial partnerships.
  • Produce digital assets for the club’s website, social channels, email campaigns and paid media activity.
  • Design printed materials including posters, flyers, brochures, adverts, signage, menus, programmes and other customer-facing collateral.
  • Support the production and page layout of official club publications.
  • Adapt creative concepts for multiple audiences, formats and platforms.
  • Ensure artwork is accurate, accessible, on-brand and delivered to agreed specifications.

Print, Production and Supplier Liaison

  • Liaise with print, production and media suppliers to obtain quotes, manage specifications and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Provide proofs for colleagues, check artwork accuracy and manage amends carefully.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across all departments and external suppliers.

Project Management and Collaboration

  • Work directly with colleagues across marketing, communications, ticketing, commercial, events, community and cricket departments.
  • Take briefs, clarify requirements, collate feedback and amend work accurately.
  • Manage multiple design projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritise workload effectively around matchdays, campaign deadlines and business priorities.
  • Contribute creative ideas to campaigns, launches, events and wider club activity.
  • Identify examples of good practice and emerging trends in design, print and digital communication.
  • Carry out other duties as required by the Graphic Designer and Head of Marketing and Communications

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience of creative design work, supported by a strong portfolio.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of brand identity, brand values and the importance of communicating consistently through design.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital channels.
  • Good knowledge of print processes, artwork preparation and supplier liaison.
  • Excellent layout, typography and visual composition skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret briefs and develop creative solutions from concept to completion.
  • Good project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work in a busy environment.
  • Confident communicator, able to work well with staff and stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience working within a marketing or communications team.
  • Experience in sport, live events, entertainment, leisure or a membership organisation.
  • Knowledge of cricket or the wider sporting landscape.
  • Experience designing for paid social, digital advertising and email marketing.
  • Basic photography, video editing or motion graphics skills.
  • Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom or similar creative tools.
  • Experience producing artwork for large format, signage, merchandise or venue branding.

WORKING PATTERN

  • This role will be based primarily at Trent Bridge. Some evening and weekend work may be required during the cricket season and around major matchdays, events, campaigns and publication deadlines.
