ITT Coordinator Teach First is a charity that believes education is the most powerful tool to help a child fulfil their potential. We find and train teachers to work in the schools that need them most, we equip school leaders with evidence-led training, we support local teacher training providers, and we plug education leaders into supportive professional networks. The role The rundown: You’ll play a vital part in supporting the smooth running of your team’s day-to-day activities. Whether supporting project work or helping with the administration of key programmes, you will enable us to continue delivering impactful work across the charity. You’ll use your organisation and communication skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, helping us fulfil our purpose of improving education for all. The detail: day-to-day work • Providing administrative support across your depart- ment, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and on time • Coordinating projects, meetings, and events by managing schedules, logistics, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. • Supporting financial processes such as raising pur- chase orders, tracking budgets, and ensuring compli- ance with policies. • Maintaining and updating departmental documents, ensuring accuracy and ease of access. • Assisting with data entry, generating reports, and tracking the progress of ongoing projects. • Drafting and sending internal and external communica- tions as required. • Handling confidential information with discretion, ensuring compliance with data protection policies. • Managing calendars for key team members, coordinat- ing meetings, and booking travel or accommodation when necessary. • Identifying opportunities to improve team systems and processes to enhance efficiency. You’ll take ownership for: • Proactively managing the administration of key projects, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered on time. • Supporting collaboration across the team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. • Maintaining efficient systems for document manage- ment, finance administration, and reporting. • Suggesting improvements to administrative processes to support team effectiveness. 1 About you The Essentials: make sure you demonstrate these in your application. Even if you think you don't quite tick all the boxes we want to hear from you. • You are organised and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. • You are a strong communicator, able to work well with colleagues across different teams and departments. • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools like Word and Excel to create documents, manage data, and track information. • You can juggle multiple tasks at once, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines. • You work well independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of your responsibilities and helping where needed.
