Kirklees Calderdale Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre
ISVA Service Manager
- Full time
The Partnership: The West Yorkshire Rape Crisis Partnership (WYRCP) is a collaboration of three specialist Rape Crisis Centres working together to deliver high‑quality, feminist, trauma‑informed support for survivors across West Yorkshire. As long‑established services within our local communities, we combine our shared expertise, values, and survivor‑led practice to create a single, cohesive regional response to rape and sexual violence.
Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (RASAC) provide specialist therapeutic and advocacy services for people aged 5+ of any gender who have experienced rape, sexual abuse, or domestic abuse, living in Kirklees, Calderdale, and Wakefield.
Bradford Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Survivors Service (BRC & SASS) delivers specialist support for women and girl survivors in Bradford who have experienced any form of sexual violence, including sexualised domestic abuse, sexual harassment, and child sexual abuse.
Support After Rape and Sexual Violence Leeds (SARSVL) offers a women‑only safe space and specialist support for women and girls in Leeds who have been affected by sexual violence at any time in their lives.
As a partnership, we are all survivor‑led, Rape Crisis National Service Standards accredited, and wholly dedicated to addressing and preventing sexual violence, challenging rape myths and rape culture, and supporting survivors throughout their healing and recovery.
The Project: The WYRCP works collaboratively on several regional projects designed to improve access to high‑quality, empowering, support for survivors of rape and sexual violence across West Yorkshire.
This specific project will deliver a single, coordinated, specialist, survivor‑centred Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA) Service for survivors of any age and gender living anywhere in West Yorkshire. Funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA), this project enhances consistency, quality, and accessibility of Independent Sexual Violence Services across the region. It unites our collective expertise to ensure survivors can access clear pathways, specialist advocacy, and holistic support.
Responsibilities: The ISVA Service Manager will manage the delivery and development of a high-quality ISVA service to survivors of rape and sexual violence in West Yorkshire, ensuring services are trauma-informed, survivor-centred, and responsive to the diverse needs of individuals accessing support. The post holder will provide leadership, overseeing service performance, staff development, partnership working, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, effective, and accessible support across the region.
