What’s the Job?

Are you looking for flexible work where you can support students to achieve their qualifications? We are seeking reliable individuals to join the Student Records Team of Invigilators.

The Student Records Team safeguards the validity of student results and supports a positive and equitable assessment experience. The team is responsible for the coordination and quality assurance of exam delivery, ensuring alignment with awarding body regulations and internal procedures. The team provides clear guidance and support to invigilators, ensuring that all assessments are conducted in a controlled, fair and compliant environment.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, punctual and able to commit to scheduled exam sessions, as required. The successful individuals will be calm, professional and able to maintain a controlled and supportive environment for students. You will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures accurately and communicate clearly and confidently. A high level of discretion is essential, alongside the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.

You will be responsible for supervising students during examinations, ensuring all awarding body regulations and procedures are followed. This includes distributing and collecting materials securely and maintaining appropriate exam conditions throughout. You will provide clear instructions to students, record attendance and report any incidents or irregularities in line with procedures. The role involves working closely with the Student Records Team to support the delivery of a fair, secure and compliant assessment process.

To succeed in the role, you will have some or all of the following:

  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific software/systems
  • Adaptability to evolving digital opportunities and willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
  • This post is required to be based primarily on Campus, with the possibility of some invigilation required remotely
