About the role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Internal Consultant to join us, working as a part of our Internal Consultancy Team. You will support a portfolio of change projects by conducting thorough investigations, modelling scenarios, and providing evidence-based recommendations that drive strategic decision-making. This role is pivotal in diagnosing complex organisational challenges, identifying root causes, and evaluating the necessity and impact of change.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the ‘front door’ for new change opportunities through conducting deep-dive analysis to uncover root causes of operational, strategic, or systemic issues, advising and supporting the organisation on the means to address.
  • Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to understand business challenges, gathering relevant data to apply structured problem-solving methodologies to dissect complexity and identify systemic causes.
  • Evaluating the need for business change by exploring multiple options, scenarios, and potential outcomes, highlighting trade-offs, risks and dependencies
  • Acting as a partner to front-line services to explicitly identify impacts on their teams and volunteers to ensure proposed changes deliver on customer need and absorbability are considered comprehensively
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented changes, feeding insights back into continuous improvement.

About you

We are looking for someone who is resilient, decisive, and driven to deliver meaningful change, and can work autonomously but within agreed parameters.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Certification in Business Change Management, Business Analysis, Lean/Lean Six Sigma or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven experience in organisational change management, business improvement initiatives, business analysis or strategy roles.
  • The ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Fishbone, 5 Whys, Pareto).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Is comfortable working across multiple projects and adapting to shifting priorities.

If this sounds like you, and you are someone who thrives on curiosity, critical thinking, and driving meaningful change, and enjoys dissecting problems, identifying patterns, and getting to the root of issues rather than just treating symptoms, this could be the role for you. Apply today and join an organisation that makes a real difference.
