The Vacancy

Are you looking for rewarding work where every shift offers the chance to make a genuine impact? Sound like you? Quarrier is hiring part time Intensive Support Practitioners to support the service during the day. 

Your new opportunity 

Quarriers Countryview is a short breaks children & young people service, where we support children and young people aged 5-20 with a wide range of additional needs. As an Intensive Support Practitioner, you'll be part of a dedicated, compassionate team providing tailored support and creating joyful, meaningful experiences every day.

The service offers short breaks for children and young people with:

• Complex medical needs
• Physical and learning disabilities
• Autism and neurodiverse conditions
• Trauma-related and emotional needs

Working pattern: Countryview is offering part time, permanent contracts between 15 - 30 hours per week. You will be required to work various shifts which include, earlies, lates & weekends on a service rota basis. 

What you'll bring

• Candidates must hold an SVQ level 3 and HNC, or be prepared to work towards either if not in possession of both qualifications.
• Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for every child
• Support with personal care, therapeutic routines, and daily activities (full training provided)
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
• Engage children in play, sensory exploration, outings, and skill-building opportunities
• Offer consistent and compassionate support, especially during times of distress
