Are you someone with a background in dog behaviour who can provide excellent support and advice to dog owners, with a passion for creating content that can be a key tool of support?

We are looking for someone to join our team who can create and develop behaviour related content with the aim of delivering behavioural advice and support to dog owners experiencing problem behaviours with their dogs. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioural principles, particularly in relation to content delivery, and a focus on creating content that will drive positive dog welfare outcomes. This also involves working closely with other content creators, and experts to ensure the content meets organisational goals.

What does this role do?

In this role you will:

  • Act as the lead for the Behaviour and Community Services department on the identification and provision of accessible content that allows dog owners to recognise and understand behaviour and training issues.
  • Identify, and with the content department, co-develop behaviour related content to support in-person behaviour services, such as written and video content to explain the implementation of specific training and behaviour modification plans.
  • Work closely with the Content team to develop and produce engaging content that is clear, concise and able to be understood by dog owners, ensuring key messages are effectively communicated.
  • Understand and apply behavioural principles to ensure that content is designed to engage dog owners and achieve behavioural change in relation to dog safety.
  • Work with dog behaviour experts across the organisation to gather insights and feedback on content development.

Could this be you?

You will be working alongside digital and marcomms content teams to co-develop customer facing behaviour content, ensuring that the materials are factually accurate and suitable for dog owners. This requires a strong understanding of behavioural principles, particularly in relation to content delivery, and a focus on creating content that will drive positive dog welfare outcomes.

We are looking for someone who has experience in writing, developing and tailoring content, with a strong understanding of dog behaviour, and the ability to translate this knowledge into engaging and impactful content for dog owners.
