We are looking for an Insurer Account Manager to join Lycetts in our Newcastle or Norfolk office. Competitive salary, excellent benefits and hybrid working.

About the role

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Insurer Account Manager to join our Newcastle or Norfolk office.

In this role, you'll support the management of key insurer partnerships, helping drive commercial performance, product development and strategic initiatives. Working closely with Insurer Account Directors, you'll turn data and insight into action, coordinate stakeholder activity, and help strengthen relationships that deliver value for our clients and business.

What you'll be doing

  • Support the management and growth of key insurer relationships.

  • Analyse trading, claims, profitability and performance data to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Coordinate insurer governance, reporting, action plans and stakeholder communications.

  • Assist in the development, launch and enhancement of insurance products and propositions.

  • Prepare insight, business cases and presentations to support strategic decision-making.

  • Monitor performance against commercial objectives and help drive improvement initiatives.

  • Work with underwriting, claims, sales and product teams to deliver successful insurer outcomes.

  • Support insurer activation, training and business engagement activities.

  • Maintain accurate records, controls and governance processes across insurer agreements and commercial arrangements

What you'll need to have

  • Relationship / Account / Client Management experience within either an insurance company or broker.

  • Good knowledge of the UK commercial insurance market and insurer trading models.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and opportunities.

  • Excellent organisation and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Confidence producing reports, presentations and management information.

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and insurer partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Awareness of regulatory, governance and risk management requirements within insurance.

What makes you stand out

  • Progress towards a relevant insurance qualification, such as Cert CII, is desirable.
