Inpatient Unit Housekeeper

37.5 hours per week -Long shift - 7:00am – 19:30pm (11.5hrs)

to include weekend and some Bank Holiday working as part of the rota

Salary £24,785 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

We are seeking to recruit an additional Ward Housekeeper to join our already well-established team here at the Hospice. As Housekeeper you will work as an integral part of the team and will be responsible for attending to patients' non-clinical needs, to include assisting at patient mealtimes, ordering/restocking of supplies, whilst ensuring that the areas are a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

The successful applicant will have proven experience of working with people and to deal with them in a caring and sensitive manner. Good communication skills and the ability to work both as an effective team member and on your own initiative is essential.
