Ingeus Service Operations Manager (Salary £30,976)

A Way Out an exciting role to work with women in the criminal justice system and to be part of wider delivery in partnership with another fantastic charity, Ingeus. This role is full time and will be split between community hubs (Newcastle,Sunderland and Durham) and in Low Newton Prison.

As a Service Manager at A Way Out (AWO), you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating delivery (The Sage Programme) and support within the service area. Your responsibilities will include leading teams and developing projects to address risk and need, overseeing safeguarding measures, and fostering stakeholder relationships.

You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices, develop multi-agency networks, and contribute to AWO's growth and development. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruitment, volunteer development, budget management, training, and ensuring the team's adherence to policies and procedures. Your role will focus on delivering quality services, through performance and quality monitoring, whist maintaining a gender and trauma-informed approach.

This role will also require operational delivery in addition to service management and some out of hours working.

Relevant degree or professional qualification (NVQ level 4) in a related field (e.g. Criminology, Management, Probation, Health Care, Social Work, equivalent overseas qualification).
