We are The Partnership of Counselling and Psychotherapy Bodies. The PCPB is a group of six leading organisations committed to ensuring that the counselling and psychotherapy profession is trusted, respected and more widely understood by members of the public.

This role is flexible, with remote meetings and the occasional one in London and can work well around other commitments.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This is a key role for the PCPB requiring effective and inclusive leadership and serving as a visible ambassador for the partnership, while building and sustaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.

We are particularly looking for:

• a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills
• an understanding of regulation or professional standards
• experience in inclusive leadership and decision-making

This is an independent role, and applicants cannot be a current member of a counselling or psychotherapy body.  We particularly welcome applications from individuals outside the counselling, psychotherapy, and wider mental health professions in order to support full independence and facilitate the strategic nature of the PCPB’s work.
