Independent Chair of Christ Church Cathedral Safeguarding Advisory Panel

Christ Church Cathedral is seeking to appoint an Independent Chair for our Safeguarding Advisory Panel.
This post provides an independent perspective on Christ Church Cathedral’s safeguarding work, so the postholder will be working for us on a consultancy basis, 5 days per year, for a term of 3 years initially.  The current rate of pay is £400 per day and is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
The role of the independent Chair is to lead the Cathedral’s Safeguarding Advisory Panel meetings, and to foster a positive safeguarding culture and ensure we are following Church policy and good practice guidance.
