We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join our fundraising team in Ireland in the role of Income Generation Supervisor. You will support the Head of Income Generation in managing a team of Fundraising and Visitor Assistants. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring the charity delivers excellent donor and visitor care to supporters across Ireland. You will ensure the consistent and efficient implementation of fundraising processes, tools, and communications to help nurture and grow the charity’s supporter base. You will also ensure the Visitor Centre is optimally staffed and stocked, enabling strong, positive relationships to be built with the charity’s supporters and visitors

About you:

  • Proven supervisory line management of fundraising or customer service teams in a similar environment providing motivational support, coaching and mentoring appropriately.
  • Experience of working with supporter or customer data.
  • Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent donor care including management of enquiries from supporters and members of the public.
  • Demonstrable experience of excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage a variety of simultaneous projects to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrable experience of the ability to make good decisions under pressure.
  • Experience of utilising banking systems for the processing of donations or orders.
  • Full valid driving licence.

About the role:

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include –

  • In conjunction with the Head of Income Generation, line manage the team to motivate, develop and support the operational delivery establishing resilience and excellence at all times.
  • Setting objectives to meet the charity’s overall aim and strategic goals, and managing individual staff performance.
  • Oversee the effective day-to-day operation of the visitor site, ensuring it is appropriately staffed, stocked, safe, and welcoming, and that high standards of visitor experience, supporter engagement, and brand representation are consistently delivered.
  • Support the Head of Income Generation to produce, manage and evaluate annual income and expenditure budgets, including campaign targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver excellent customer care to TDSI’s supporters, working with the Head of Income Generation to develop, test and monitor engagement strategies to strengthen supporter relationships throughout the donor lifecycle.
  • Supervise the processing and maintenance of records added to the CRM by the team, ensuring accuracy, financial (i.e. DD, cash, card and cheque payments) and GDPR compliance and delivering timely supporter correspondence.
  • Support the delivery of key fundraising campaign activities as required, including management of the raffle draw process and the raffle operational licences.

What we offer in return:

Based at The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland, Knockardbane, Liscarroll this is a full-time, permanent contract working 39 hours per week. This is a hybrid working position, combining onsite and home working under our guiding principles for such roles. The working pattern and requirement for site attendance be agreed between the line manager and post-holder, currently anticipated to be four days per week on site and one day a week working from home.
