We are recruiting a part‑time Inclusion Team Coordinators, working a 21 hours per week across 3 days. This is a home‑based role, with occasional travel to London, Manchester and Birmingham for meetings.

About the Role

As an Inclusion Team Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Colleague Inclusion Manager and support our Inclusion Consultants who have a learning disability. You’ll help embed inclusive and accessible ways of working across Mencap.

This role plays a key part in bringing Mencap’s 2030 Strategy to life, supporting our ambition to be the best place to work and volunteer for people with a learning disability. Through co‑production, inclusive practice, and amplifying lived experience voices, your work will help create lasting, meaningful change across the organisation.

You’ll coordinate training, events, and projects, making sure Inclusion Consultants are supported, empowered, and confident to contribute. You’ll also be a key link between the Inclusion Team and colleagues across Mencap, helping ensure people with a learning disability help shape decisions, culture, and direction.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting Inclusion Consultants with scheduling, wellbeing check‑ins, and day‑to‑day coordination
  • Coordinating involvement in training, co‑production groups, projects, and events
  • Ensuring reasonable adjustments and accessibility needs are in place
  • Supporting the delivery of impactful training sessions and lived experience activity
  • Helping embed inclusive practices across Mencap by working collaboratively with other teams
  • Making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so colleagues with a learning disability can thrive

Every conversation you have and every detail you coordinate helps ensure lived experience sits at the heart of Mencap’s work.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working with people with a learning disability
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • A confident and inclusive communicator who can build strong, trusting relationships
  • Passionate about inclusion, equity, and co‑production
  • Confident using Microsoft digital tools
  • Committed to Mencap’s values and long‑term vision
