In Reach Co-Ordinator

Reports to:Centre ManagerContract:Fixed Term – 9 MonthsHours:Part Time - 20hrs per weekDBS:Enhanced DBS required

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive In-reach Co-ordinator to coordinate responses to food poverty and support individuals in East Leeds. You will work with service users, key workers and partner organisations to deliver person-centred support and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate locality food services for individuals in need
  • Assess needs and develop person-centred support plans
  • Review and adapt support plans to ensure successful outcomes
  • Build partnerships with statutory, voluntary and private organisations
  • Represent the organisation at meetings and community events
  • Produce reports, documents and presentations
  • Respond to enquiries, feedback and complaints
  • Maintain accurate records in line with data protection
  • Ensure safeguarding incidents are recorded and managed

About You

Essential:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Experience working with partner organisations
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to assess needs and manage risk
  • Ability to maintain accurate records

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals
  • Experience in the charity sector
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Strong networking and partnership skills
