Westminster School
Part-time

Westminster School is a busy and vibrant place to work. There is a real sense of community here as, being a boarding school, many members of staff and pupils live on site and the School’s premises are very much treated as a home away from home. Support staff as much as teaching staff are encouraged to embrace the School’s day-to-day activities, whether that be attending an evening concert or a morning service in the Abbey.

The People Department is based at Westminster School’s main campus in Little Dean’s Yard and is responsible for recruiting staff for Westminster School and its linked Prep School, Westminster Under School. This is a particularly exciting and significant time to be joining Westminster, as the School moves to become fully co-educational. Girls will join the Under School for the first time in 2026 at the 7+ and 11+ entry points, and a brand-new pre-prep will open for boys and girls at the 4+ entry point. In 2028, girls will join Westminster School at 13+.

The role Westminster School is looking for a talented HRIS Administrator and Data Analyst to join our People, Payroll, Pensions and Benefits Team and play a key role in the continued development of our newly implemented iTrent system. Working closely with colleagues across HR, Payroll, IT and Finance, the postholder will ensure the School’s people systems run smoothly, support operational efficiency, and provide high-quality workforce data to inform strategic decision-making. They will oversee the day‑to‑day running of iTrent and act as first‑line support for system issues, escalating issues where required.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator who is able to build strong working relationships. They will possess strong IT skills, having used Power BI and Microsoft Excel previously, and will be a problem solver, with a high level of attention to detail. Previous experience of working in HR is essential to the role, as is proven technical knowledge and hands‑on experience of HRIS platforms and extracting, analysing and presenting data.

The role is part-time (21 hours per week), permanent and fully office-based, with a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 FTE. Applications are being managed by Hays and should be directed to them via the Apply Online link below.
