Are you an organised and proactive HR professional who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment?
We’re looking for a well-rounded HR Coordinator with experience in a similar HR role to join our People and Culture team. No two days are the same and in being part of a collaborative team. This is a broad and hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to HR reporting, compliance and providing first-line HR advice and support.
If you enjoy working with HR data, systems and processes, but also like building positive working relationships this could be the role for you.
What does the HR Coordinator role involve?
You will be the ‘glue in the system’, supporting the HR Team. On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Provide administrative support to our HR and ER team such as preparing reports, maintaining records, scheduling meetings and other ad hoc tasks
- Ensure data across all HR systems is up to date and complies with legal requirements for confidentiality and data protection
- Administer all aspects of the employee lifecycle
- Support on ad hoc projects within the team and help drive continuous improvement activities
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Producing monthly HR metrics and reports
- Acting as HRIS Champion - supporting workflows, data accuracy and delivering basic training
- Managing day-to-day recruitment and onboarding processes
- Preparing contracts, addendums and employee documentation
- Providing first-line HR guidance on absence, leave and general policy queries
- Maintaining accurate employee records in line with GDPR
- Conducting safer recruitment checks (DBS, right to work, professional registrations)
- Keeping HR policies, forms and internal pages up to date
- Supporting wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What skills does the HR Coordinator need?
- 2-3 years’ experience in an HR coordinatior or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with HR data and systems
- Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- A professional, discreet and approachable manner
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
