The role

We are looking for a HR & Facilities Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their administrative experience or develop a career in HR and workplace support within a varied and rewarding role.

In this role, you will provide administrative support across both our HR and Facilities teams, helping to create a positive employee experience and ensuring our offices remain safe, welcoming and well organised.

No two days are the same. You will support a range of HR activities, including maintaining employee records, monitoring the HR inbox, assisting with onboarding, contractual changes and leaver processes, and responding to basic enquiries.

You will also help coordinate office facilities, manage office supplies and stock levels, arrange maintenance visits, liaise with suppliers, support health and safety administration, and assist with meeting room set-up and general office organisation.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will provide excellent customer service while ensuring information is accurate and processes are followed effectively. You will play an important role in helping to create a safe, clean and welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors.

Previous HR experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a proactive approach. Ideally, you will be available to work 3.5 to 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, to provide office-based support, although we can be flexible.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be well organised, proactive and able to manage a variety of tasks and priorities. You will have excellent attention to detail and enjoy providing high-quality support to colleagues.

We are more interested in your attitude and potential than extensive experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, provides excellent customer service and communicates confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

You will be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel, and be keen to learn new skills and develop your knowledge.

Previous administration experience and experience working in an office environment would be advantageous but are not essential. An interest in HR, facilities management or employee experience would also be beneficial.

Above all, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a flexible approach and a commitment to supporting colleagues and helping our workplace run smoothly.
