C2C Social Action is a Christian charity working across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.
We support individuals, many with lived experience of the criminal justice system, to break cycles of offending
and disadvantage—and step into brighter, more hopeful futures. Our services include women’s centres, a men’s
hub and housing project, a community garden, and a range of specialist support projects.
We’re looking for a Housing Specialist to provide an excellent and comprehensive support package to the
women. The Housing Specialist will provide trauma-informed, practical and emotional housing-related support
to women accessing Northampton Women’s Centre. The role focuses on preventing homelessness, supporting
women to secure and sustain safe accommodation, and advocating on their behalf with housing providers and
statutory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one housing advice and support
to women, including those at risk of
homelessness or in unstable accommodation.
Advocate on behalf of women with local
authorities, housing associations, private
landlords and other agencies.
Deliver all support in a trauma-informed,
strengths-based and non-judgemental way.
Identify and respond appropriately to
safeguarding concerns, in line with
organisational policies.
Have experience providing housing
You’ll need to:
advice, advocacy or related support.
