About the role
Citizens Advice Sandwell & Walsall are looking for a Housing Debt Adviser to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide specialist advice and casework to people experiencing housing insecurity, homelessness and financial hardship, helping them understand their rights and achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.
Working across Sandwell and Walsall, you’ll support clients facing issues such as rent and mortgage arrears, possession proceedings, Section 21 notices, homelessness and debt. You’ll work closely with local authorities, housing providers and partner organisations to prevent homelessness, resolve housing issues and improve clients’ financial wellbeing through tailored, person-centred support.
