Housekeeper / Scout
Our team of Housekeeping Scouts are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the College. They are observant, thorough, have good time management, and are able to multitask.
Purpose
Cleaning and associated tasks as directed.
Responsible to
The Head Housekeeper.
The Housekeepers are expected to let the Head Housekeeper know if they have any concerns about the welfare of any students resident in their area of responsibility.
Housekeepers are required to report any breaches of College rules to the Head Housekeeper or Team Leaders.
Housekeepers are to report any damage to College property and report any Maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the College's organisation and the overall objectives of Balliol College.

• Physically fit
• Experience in a scouting role or similar
• Ability to work well as part of a large team member
• Good spoken English
Terms and conditions
Maternity cover - you will be employed by Balliol College for a twelve-month maternity cover position.
Salary
Your salary will be £13.65 an hour, paid monthly in arrears by bank transfer.

Your hours of work will be 6 hours per day, any 5 days out of 7.
