We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment across our hospice. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a compassionate organisation where your work will make a real difference every day.
Working as part of our Support Services Team, you will help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, infection prevention and environmental safety are maintained throughout the hospice, supporting the delivery of exceptional care to our patients and families.
About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you will:
- Carry out cleaning duties across clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Support infection prevention and control standards.
- Assist with laundry and waste management processes.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
- Help create a welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with teams across the hospice.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a housekeeping, cleaning or domestic role.
- Takes pride in delivering high standards.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Is reliable, organised and professional.
- Demonstrates compassion, respect and understanding towards others.
- Shares the values of St Vincent’s Hospice.
Experience within a healthcare, hospice or care setting would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Hours:
This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week), offering a competitive annual salary of £24,853.
