In this role, you will provide high quality, evidence-based specialist palliative care to patients and their families with care, compassion and dignity. You will support colleagues who are managing palliative care patients both within the hospice and across the borough through the provision of specialist medical advice when needed. You will participate in the on-call rota providing 24 hour medical cover for the hospice, including the 24 hour specialist palliative care advice line.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a licence to practice, have at least 2 years’ post-registration experience, and demonstrate a strong interest in palliative & end of life care.
The role is available on a fixed term basis, working 9am – 5pm 3 days a week (6 PAs) plus 1 in 5 on-call.
You will be able to attend the hospice within 45-60 minutes when on-call (driving licence required).
