Do you have experience working in the Health & Social Care sector? Are you passionate about helping others develop the knowledge and confidence to succeed?

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced professionals to join our team as Skills Trainers. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your industry experience to inspire and support others entering or progressing within the Health & Social Care sector.

You will deliver a range of practical, engaging training courses for people already working in the sector, as well as those looking to begin a career in Health & Social Care. Training may include:

· Non-certificated workshops

o Infection Control

o Medication Awareness

o Adult Support and Protection

· Introduction to Social Care courses for those considering a career in the sector

· Supporting learners to complete online learning programmes

What we're looking for

You will have current, relevant qualifications and practical experience within the Health & Social Care sector. Just as importantly, you'll enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping others build their skills and confidence.

A formal teaching qualification is not essential. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the enthusiasm to create engaging and supportive learning experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

To succeed in this role, you will have some or all of the following:

  • A relevant certification in Health & Social Care or equivalent at SCQF Level 7.
  • Practical experience working within a care setting is essential.
  • A Group Training Certificate or similar is desirable.
  • Experience delivering training courses (e.g., Moving and Handling, Infection Control, Medication Awareness) is desirable.
  • Strong customer service, organisation, teamworking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific systems.
  • Adaptability to evolving digital tools and a willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
