An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual with a passion for health and fitness to work within the Activ8 teams at IB & Thornaby Pavilion.

THE COMPANY

With over 250 team members Tees Active are committed to workforce training and personal development and the successful candidate will apply their knowledge, experience, and training to play an integral part in the future success of Tees Active.

THE ROLE
The role includes: –

•Delivery of health assessments, Member Orientations, and My Wellness programmes.
•Delivery of gym-based activity sessions and the implementation of retention strategies.
•Maintaining a high presence on the gym floor, interacting, and assisting members with their needs.
•Offering advice and guidance to members in relation to new training techniques and methods.
•Membership Sales – show rounds, price presentation and administration duties.

ABOUT YOU
Applicants must hold a recognised Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification. Experience of working within a gym or fitness environment and a Level 3 Personal Training qualification is desirable but not essential.

Applicants must ensure that they can demonstrate that their skills, knowledge, and experience satisfy all the essential elements of the person specification. Any additional fitness qualifications such as Kettle Bell, TRX, GP Referral or Exercise to Music would be advantageous.

We are committed to safeguarding and therefore the role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
