The Opportunity
We're looking for a Head of Technology to lead our technology function, ensuring our infrastructure, systems, cyber security and enterprise applications are resilient, secure and fit for purpose. This role will play a key part in helping the organisation modernise through data, automation and digital innovation.
Based at RSA House, London, the role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite, with hybrid flexibility for the remainder.
What You'll Do
Strategy & Business Partnering
- Develop and deliver the RSA's technology strategy, aligned with organisational objectives.
- Own enterprise systems architecture, ensuring integrated and effective business systems.
- Provide strategic technology, cyber security and digital advice to senior leaders.
- Partner across the organisation to identify and implement technology solutions.
- Drive process improvement through automation, AI and emerging technologies.
Technology Operations
- Lead the delivery of reliable, secure and effective technology services.
- Oversee infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications and systems integration.
- Manage the Microsoft estate and ensure effective data flow across platforms.
- Build and manage supplier relationships to maximise value and service quality.
- Maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.
Cyber Security, Data & Transformation
- Lead cyber security, information governance and compliance activities.
- Develop technology and data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
- Ensure data is secure, well managed and supports organisational decision-making.
- Improve data quality and accessibility across systems.
- Lead technology projects that enhance organisational effectiveness, collaboration, reporting and user experience.
- Promote responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including AI.
Leadership
- Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing technology team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and position Technology as a strategic partner.
- Contribute to wider organisational leadership and success.

Key Experience
- Experience leading a technology or IT function.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, cyber security and enterprise applications.
- Experience delivering technology transformation programmes.
- Good understanding of how technology, digital and data support organisational objectives.
- Proven track record of implementing solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness and user experience.
