About the Role

 MAP seeks a

Head of Supply Chain and Logistics to provide strategic leadership and oversight of supply chain operations for MAP’s Gaza response, ensuring effective, timely, compliant, and accountable procurement, logistics, warehousing, and humanitarian cargo delivery. The role is responsible for leading supply chain strategy and contingency planning; overseeing procurement and medical supply management in line with MAP policies, donor requirements, and humanitarian standards; coordinating the timely receipt, transportation, storage, and distribution of essential goods through complex access and border environments; ensuring effective warehouse, inventory, pharmaceutical, and temperature-sensitive stock management; strengthening risk management, compliance, anti-fraud, safeguarding, and audit readiness; monitoring operational performance, budgets, and resource utilization; building staff and partner capacity through leadership, training, coaching, and technical support; and representing MAP in relevant coordination forums while maintaining strong relationships with programmes, partners, suppliers, UN agencies, and humanitarian stakeholders.

About You

 The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and logistics operations in humanitarian or emergency settings, preferably in conflict-affected or insecure environments, with experience managing medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, or health-related humanitarian operations. They will have a strong understanding of humanitarian procurement standards and donor compliance requirements, with proven experience leading multicultural teams and working with diverse stakeholders, including governments, donors, partners, UN agencies, suppliers, and communities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong strategic leadership, decision-making, planning, negotiation, analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage operational risks, develop contingency plans, oversee budgets and resources, and ensure business continuity. They will be proficient in MS Office, supply chain information systems, ERP platforms, and operational reporting tools, with excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
