• Bede's Trust requires an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our STEM Department as a Head of Science and Science Subject Specialist at our Prep School in Eastbourne.

  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing structured leadership for our Science teachers, to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils. Working closely with the Head of Faculty (STEM) to provide regular updates on Science teaching in the School.

  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can develop creative, innovative and effective teaching and learning strategies for Science; ensure that the curriculum is regularly reviewed to reflect best and modern practice.

  This can be a Full OR Part Time, Permanent position. A commitment to the broader life of the school, including involvement in our weekend activities and boarding programme, is essential for this role.

  The successful candidate will possess

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)and demonstrateexceptional subject expertiseacross the sciences, with a proven track record of academic excellence.
