About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a significant transformation of reporting and analytical capability across the National Oceanography Centre.

As Head of Reporting Transformation, you’ll lead the Reporting Transformation Programme, developing a clear roadmap and long-term vision for how NOC uses reporting, data and business intelligence to support planning, decision-making and organisational performance.

Working across the organisation, you’ll bring together data from key systems and sources to create a more integrated, accessible and meaningful view of organisational performance. You’ll lead the development of modern business intelligence and reporting capability, reducing manual processes and creating better insight for Executive and management decision-making.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how NOC uses data and insight to make better decisions and build a sustainable reporting capability for the future.

About you

You will be an experienced reporting, analytics, business intelligence or data transformation professional, with a strong track record of delivering complex change across multiple business functions and systems.

You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders, turning complex business requirements and data into practical solutions that support better decision-making. You’ll have experience developing reporting frameworks, data models and management information solutions, alongside a good understanding of data governance, information management and business intelligence principles.

You’ll be a confident and collaborative leader who can create and communicate a clear vision, challenge existing approaches and identify opportunities to improve how we work. You’ll be comfortable making decisions in complex environments, influencing others and leading change through to delivery.
