The Role
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the integrated marketing plan for our Fitness business and Social Responsibility programmes. As Head of Marketing – Fitness & Social Impact, you will bring together cross-functional expertise to create joined-up, commercially focused campaigns and always-on activity that deliver against key trading targets.
Acting as the single point of accountability, you’ll align priorities, manage dependencies and ensure clear performance tracking—working hand-in-hand with Trading teams to translate commercial goals into impactful marketing, and delivering a compelling performance narrative at Executive level.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Integrated Marketing Planning: Own and deliver the integrated marketing plan across Fitness and Social Responsibility, aligning all channels to commercial and charitable priorities

Translate Strategy into Delivery: Turn trading goals into clear, actionable marketing plans—managing budgets, channel mix, dependencies and priorities

Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Lead a virtual team and agency partners to deliver joined-up campaigns and always-on activity from brief to evaluation

Own Commercial Performance: Be accountable for marketing’s contribution to key trading metrics, including joiners, revenue, bookings and retention

Lead Insight & Optimisation: Own performance reporting and narrative, using data and test-and-learn approaches to continuously improve outcomes

Influence & Improve Ways of Working: Partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities while embedding effective planning, governance and scalable processes
About You
You’re a commercially focused marketing leader who brings clarity, pace and impact—translating strategy into activity that delivers real business results.

Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate trading priorities into marketing activity that drives measurable outcomes

Deep understanding of the full marketing mix, with experience building integrated plans across Paid Media, CRM, PR, Content, Digital and Creative

Highly data-literate, able to interrogate performance, identify what matters and draw clear, actionable conclusions

Confident communicator, creating clear, insight-led updates and recommendations for executive audiences

Delivery-focused, with a disciplined approach to planning, governance and driving outcomes over activity

Significant senior marketing experience within a performance- or trading-led environment, spanning acquisition and retention

A senior but hands-on leader, you thrive in a small team environment—personally driving delivery as well as shaping strategy
