Following on from the University’s new Strategic Plan, we are recruiting to the new role of Head of Learning, Teaching and Assessment (3 Year internal secondment) to provide cross-University leadership around our learning, teaching and assessment policies and approach to support student success.
The successful applicant will be an established academic with cross-University experience of leading on teaching, learning and assessment processes and practices as well as programme development and innovation. This is a senior role providing pedagogic leadership, with a particular focus on activities intended to contribute to the effective delivery of the new University Strategic Plan and the development of its sub-strategies.
Reporting to the Associate Dean Student Attainment and through to the Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor, the postholder will work closely with senior managers, especially the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Director of Student Success, the Executive Dean, Heads of School, and the Academic Registrar. The role will provide input to senior professional groups and committees.
