To help us get there, we’re looking for an exceptional Head of IT & Business Improvement a strategic leader who can connect digital, data, and change to deliver real, measurable impact for our customers and colleagues.

What you’ll be doing
Strategic leadership & transformation
- Lead the organisation’s Business Change Strategy aligned to corporate priorities
- Advise the Executive Team and Board on digital, data, and efficiency opportunities
- Champion a culture of innovation, insight and continuous improvement
Digital & ICT leadership
- Set direction for secure, resilient, future-focused technology services
- Shape digital strategy including automation, integration, cloud, and AI
- Ensure strong governance, performance, and value from ICT services
Data, insight & intelligence
- Lead Business Intelligence, data governance and analytics
- Build a data-driven culture and improve data literacy across teams
- Turn insight into action to improve performance and outcomes
Programme delivery & change
- Oversee the organisation’s change portfolio and programme governance
- Ensure projects are prioritised, aligned and deliver measurable results
- Maintain strong oversight of risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation
Business improvement & efficiency
- Lead end-to-end process redesign and service improvement
- Develop and manage an organisation-wide efficiency pipeline
Leadership & collaboration
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across ICT, BI, and change functions
- Build strong partnerships across the organisation and with external stakeholders
- Create a high-performing, inclusive culture aligned to our values

Experience & expertise
- Senior leadership experience in business transformation, digital, or data
- Proven track record delivering change portfolios and efficiency programmes
- Experience overseeing ICT, BI, or digital functions
- Strong understanding of programme governance, benefits realisation, and value-for-money
- Demonstrated success influencing at Executive and Board level
