Head of Finance (3484)

We're looking for a Head of Finance who shares our passion for impact and innovation.

Not Cardiff based? This role can also be based from our Swansea or Bridgend offices. You'll need a full UK driving license as there will be some occasional travel travel to offices in South Wales.

About the Role

This isn't a role for someone who wants to stay behind the desk. We need a leader who can roll up their sleeves and make things happen, combining strategic vision with hands-on delivery. You'll lead our financial strategy while being deeply involved in the day-to-day realities that keep our services running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our mission
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with charity law and sector regulations
• Provide strategic insight to the leadership team
• Drive innovation in financial processes and systems
• Be ready to dive into the detail when it matters most because impact starts with action

What We're Looking For

• A qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in financial leadership and social care or third sector experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• A collaborative leader who values people as much as performance
• Hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in the operational detail
• Passion for making a difference in social care
