Location – Lusaka

Duration of contract – 1 year contract with renewal based on high performance

Salary – ZMW 53,000 pm gross with benefits.

At Tackle we innovate with how we do things both in the field and in the support office. Within the Finance Support function, we’re embracing technology to do things as efficiently as possible, without compromising control. We’re looking for someone to join our small office-based team in Lusaka heading the finance function for the entire Tackle team in the UK, East Africa, West Africa and Southern Africa. We need someone who’s flexible, well-organised and up for a challenge. Willing to adapt and solve problems in sometimes challenging circumstances.

Are you passionate about the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of young people and key populations? Do your values align with ours? If yes, you could be a great complement to Tackle, an NGO using football to provide HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services on pitches across Africa.

The Head of Finance & Technology supports us in delivering on that by ensuring we are financially sound, compliant, transparent and use our funding in the most impactful way.

We’re a small, lean team, so we need someone who’s happy to take a hands-on approach to the role. We’ve embraced technology to support us in working efficiently across a geographically dispersed area; we want someone who will champion innovative ways of working. We’re registered in multiple jurisdictions, operating in multiple currencies, so we need someone who enjoys the challenge that complexity brings. Someone with the confidence to develop and evolve the finance function to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
