The Vacancy

We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Head of English to lead our thriving, supportive and successful English department to teach Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level. Students attain excellent examination results.

The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for English. They will have previous experience of managing a team and be highly motivated with a firm grasp of curricular developments, inspire high standards in the classroom, have a warm approach, and be prepared for wider involvement in co-curricular activities. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with others, including students, colleagues, parents, and the wider community. We value colleagues who are imaginative, flexible and have the ability to inspire and support students.
