An exciting opportunity has become available as our Guest Relations Supervisor to join the team here at Carnoustie Golf Links!

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Sunday as per the rota. In this position, evening and weekend work will be expected.

The Supervisor will play a key role in creating a vibrant and engaging experience for our customers. They will also lead the team, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction is met.

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

Team Support & Development:

o Lead, mentor and support staff in operational tasks, customer interactions, and processes.

o Provide guidance to ensure standards are consistently met.

o Ensure appropriate training and development needs are enabled and encouraged

o Encourage a positive, collaborative working environment within the team.

o Encourage and promote good health and safety practices and healthy working lives throughout the team and the organisation

Operational:

o Deliver and maintain excellent customer service across all touchpoints: in person, over the phone, and digitally.

o Handle customer feedback, including complaints, appreciations, and recommendations, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.

o Administer and support processes for Season Ticket Holders, including renewals, benefits, T&Cs, direct debit setup, and overdue payments.

o Promote additional services (cross/up-selling) to enhance customer experience.

o Capture and maintain customer data and assist in reporting where required.

o Support day-to-day supervision of the Guest Relations and other customer-facing teams.

o Implement and uphold health and safety practices in daily operations.

o Support operational improvements & suggest practical solutions to improve workflows and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and logical approach to resolving issues.
  • Customer-focused with a strong service ethos.
  • Flexible and adaptable to operational demands.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Commercially aware of the industry to help maximise both short term and long-term income for Carnoustie based on the service proposition on offer
