This role is a central leadership function within Enterprises that oversees all strategic business planning and activity in the income strand of Business Services across all premises upon which Enterprises operates. The main purpose of this role is to deliver the objectives of the Commercial Strategy through the pillars of People Excellence, Product Development, and Process Optimization. This is to be achieved in tandem with ensuring the highest standards of guest excellence is delivered across all operations along with the successful achievement of all financial targets. The role is part of the Group Management team structure which is the senior Enterprise leadership team line-managed by the Head of Enterprises.

In this role you will

• In collaboration with the senior Enterprise leadership team, design, deliver and develop a growth strategy for Enterprises which will include financial, people, and administration planning, and involve regular review of the Company’s constitution to ensure it is fit for purpose
• Be accountable for the people management for all aspects of the business services team which includes administration, compliance, project management, finance, and HR
• Be accountable for designing and achieving all financial targets, budgets and P&L's related to the businesses in this remit, with ongoing performance monitoring and appropriate response management.
• Be accountable for developing and implementing projects, systems and procedures that improve the overall performance of all income streams operating under Enterprises.
• Represent Enterprises as a visible leader across Amgueddfa Cymru, regularly travelling across the business.
• Support the alignment of the commercial objectives with Amgueddfa Cymru's organisational values and strategic commitments.
