Salary: £8.00 to £13.45 dependent on age and experience
About the Role
Would you like to join our friendly Tearoom Team, offering a first-class visitor experience to our customers, whilst working at one of Britain’s most popular Heritage Railways?
We are currently recruiting seasonal tearoom assistants for our Grosmont and Goathland Station Tearooms, reporting to the tearoom supervisor. We are looking for candidates with some experience in basic food preparation and service, who is flexible to work weekends.

You Will
- Assist in some basic food preparation and service to visitors and working members of the NYMR in a friendly, professional & profitable manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the premises, to clean and wipe tables & keep the tearoom clean and well stocked.
- Follow all health & safety procedures, ensuring good food hygiene practices are adhered to at all times, ensuring the tearoom retains its level 5 food standard rating.
