Graduate Assistant & Resident Tutor – Art
Fixed Term from September 2026 to July 2027
We are offering a placement for a recent graduate, with an Art-related degree or equivalent, who may want to gain experience of working within a school environment prior to training as a teacher. Your role will involve different functions across the whole school; leading individual sessions and small groups and working alongside the class teachers to design, develop, and deliver exceptional lessons.
Associated pastoral duties may include organisation and assistance with a wide range of art, sport or music clubs after school, as well as evening activities/overnight duty for boarders, supervising prep, free time and lights out.
King Edward’s School is a co-educational boarding and day 11-18 school for some 480 pupils, around 25% of whom are full boarders. We are an HMC school and proud of our unique heritage and place among British co-educational independent schools.
This role offers accommodation, board and a salary (dependent on age) in return for variable hours and days worked to support both events and other functions within the school calendar.
