Golf Operations Assistant - Evenings
An exciting opportunity as a Golf Operations Assistant has become available to join the team at Carnoustie Golf Links, as part of the Golf Operations team of our prestigious golf course. This role will primarily work the evening shift, which typically operates between 5pm-12am.
This is a fixed-term position, working until 31st October 2026 at £12.71 per hour. In this role, evening and weekend work will be expected throughout your employment.
Working under the Head of Operations and the Golf Operations Supervisor, the normal duties of this role may include, but are not limited to:
Meeting and greeting all guests to the organisation
Assisting with, and organising our visiting golfers’ golf bags (lifting approximately 50 lbs)
Hire goods distribution, collection and cleaning/maintenance
The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, standing for long periods
Dealing with any complaints, following correct procedures
Assisting on our guest services desk, when required
Assisting with the secure locking up of Links House
General housekeeping duties, including the upkeep of our locker rooms, showers and locker facilities
