The successful candidate will oversee the launch and play a pivotal role in shaping its future as a high-quality heritage attraction, community hub, and visitor destination in the heart of Pembroke.

The Henry Tudor Centre will tell the story will of Henry Tudor, son of Pembroke, who became Henry VII and founded one of the most influential dynasties in British history, the Tudors. The exhibition, currently in the later stages of design, will be immersive, dramatic, and interactive exhibition featuring film, audio, and AV experiences.
The General Manager will provide overall leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for the Centre. They will ensure financial sustainability through ticket sales and fundraising, manage day-to-day operations, support staff, and deliver an exceptional visitor experience. In the lead up to opening, the General Manager will work alongside the Henry Tudor Trustees in operational preparation for trading.
This post will commence in November 2026 which is 4 months prior to the opening of the Henry Tudor Centre, March 2027.
Salary and working arrangement:
This vacancy may be offered on either a full-time basis or as a 0.6 FTE job share arrangement. The Henry Tudor Trust is willing to consider either option depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate(s).
Full Time Option: 40 hours a week, £38,000.00 per annum
Job share option salary: 0.6 FTE (24 hours a week), £22,800 per annum
