Garden Assistant

The details of this role are as follows:

Working hours: 8 hours per week ideally on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 08:00 however start and finish times can be agreed with Market Gardener

Contract Type: Fixed term April 2026 – 28 August 2026 potentially extended to end of September 2026

Salary: £12.71 per Hour

Start date:  April 2026

Probationary period: 2 weeks

Description of Duties:

• All aspects of production- sowing, transplanting, weeding, pruning, watering, harvesting, packing, and dealing with wholesale and retail customers

• General maintenance and upkeep off the garden

• Compost making, building compost heaps and compost application
