About the role

Citizens Advice Sandwell and Walsall are looking for three Community Engagement Workers to join our team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. These roles are available for 16–24 hours per week, typically worked over 3–4 days, with some evening and weekend working required. This is an exciting opportunity to help raise awareness of gaming and gambling related harms and make a real difference across communities in Sandwell and Walsall.

Working as part of a pioneering partnership funded by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), you will deliver engaging prevention and early intervention sessions to young people and adult community groups, build relationships with local organisations, and support people to access the right help when needed. We are looking for confident communicators who have personal or professional experience of gaming or gambling-related harms, or experience supporting someone with lived or living experience. If you are passionate about community engagement, reducing health inequalities and empowering people through education and support, we’d love to hear from you.

For more information please see the jobs page on our website (Citizens Advice Sandwell and Walsall).

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Proof of eligibility will be required before employment begins.

Please note CV’s are not accepted.
