We are looking for an experienced and motivated Gambling Service Manager to lead and manage a community based service supporting all those affected by gambling related harms. The role involves managing staff, overseeing service delivery, and working closely with partner agencies in a multidisciplinary setting.

This is a key leadership role, providing effective leadership in service development and continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, co-ordinate and monitor gambling services offered throughout NECA’s geographical area.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor data regionally, providing detailed reports following the analysis and evaluation of data/information as required.
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues providing support for individuals about their gambling behaviour.
  • Act as a confident ambassador for the organisation and network, promoting and marketing the gambling service and corporate image of the organisation.
  • Develop robust referral care pathways across relevant stakeholders/agencies such as mental health providers, criminal justice services, debt advice agencies, housing and voluntary sector providers.
  • Represent the service at regional and national meetings and conferences as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strategic vision combined with operational delivery skills.
  • A passion for reducing gambling harm and promoting community wellbeing
  • Qualification; Management qualification – ideally level 5 (or willing to work towards). NQF level 4 (and above) Diploma in relevant subject.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering services.
  • Knowledge of working with addictions (e.g., alcohol, drugs, smoking) with an interest in gambling-related harm.
